Who we are

HOE For Construction Equipment & Machinery Trading Co. LLC ("HOE", "we", "us") is a Dubai-based supplier and service provider of tower cranes and construction hoists. Our website is hoe.ae and our contact channels are listed at /contact.

What information we collect

We collect personal information you actively give us. Specifically:

• Inquiry forms: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), project details, and any other free-text information you submit.
• Newsletter signups: email address.
• Technical / analytics data: IP address, browser user-agent, referring page and current URL (collected with each form submission for spam mitigation and to help us understand how visitors find us).

We do not currently set any non-essential cookies, run third-party advertising trackers, or sell personal information. We use Google Fonts (served from fonts.googleapis.com), which may set its own request-level cookies under Google's privacy policy.

How we use it

Information you submit is used only to:

• Respond to your inquiry or quote request.
• Send newsletter updates (only if you opt in).
• Investigate and mitigate spam / abuse.
• Maintain internal records of customer interactions.

We do not use submitted information for behavioural advertising or share it with third-party marketers.

Where it's stored

Inquiry submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database hosted on Supabase (region: EU Central / Frankfurt) under our organisation's account. Access is restricted to authenticated HOE team members. Backups are retained per Supabase's standard policy.

How long we keep it

• Inquiry / quote requests: retained for up to 5 years from last interaction, to support customer service continuity and warranty / parts traceability.
• Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
• Spam / abuse records: retained up to 12 months for ongoing mitigation.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information (subject to commercial / legal record-keeping requirements).
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any newsletter.

To exercise any of these rights, email inquiry1@hoe.ae with "Data request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard measures: HTTPS everywhere, strong-password authentication on the team admin side, row-level security on the database, regular access reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to send sensitive technical or commercial details over phone rather than the public form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change how we collect or use information. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
